Jesus is our Potter!!!

On Saturday I had the privilege to see Micheal Ferris minister the Word by taking us on a Journey to the Potter's House. Micheal makes beautiful pottery but most of all he shares how Jesus is our Potter. We are Gods masterpieces, He molds us everyday if we let Him. Sometimes it's hard for us to let God do the work in us, but when we give in, God does the best work. We have a tendency to try and do it ourselves but it doesn't always work. When we give our hearts, minds and souls to the Lord, he does the incredible work in us. I hear people say "I can't except Jesus into my heart because I'm not good enough". God doesn't expect us to be perfect, that is why He sent his only Son, Jesus, to die on the Cross for us. Romans 5:6-8 6- For while we were still helpless at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 -For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. 8-But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. God is the Potter, So open up your heart and let Jesus in. Let Him do the work. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
"A Journey to the Potter's House" is a powerful illustrated sermon that brings you face to face with God in a way that will forever change the way you understand His working in your life. I pray that everyone will have a chance to see Micheal's heart felt demonstration of what God does with us as He mold our lives.
